Keith was born on July 30, 1966 at Southeastern General Hospital in Lumberton NC. I remember that day so well. Keith is the youngest of four. The day he was born our Dad took us to the hospital to see our new baby brother. We were all sooo excited. We were too young to go in so Dad parked outside Mom's window and she held him up so we could see the beautiful bundle of joy that we would call our brother.
Keith was a very handsome brown eyed blonde haired little boy who at the age of 10 began to lift weights in the backyard. He was a die hard football player for the Parks and Recreation. He use to always tell us that when he grew up he wanted to be a "trash man"..At that age I never really understand what a trash man was but it sounded interesting.

Keith graduated high school in 1984 from Barboursville High School in West Virgina. He joined the US Marines shortly thereafter. He did his time there and shortly afterwards he moved to North Carolina. In that same year he began a security job at NC Central Prison in Raleigh NC. This wasnt exactly what he had in mind as a career. While working there he attended Wake Technical Community College where he received a basic Law Enforcement degree. He was soon hired to work for Smithfield Police Dept. in Smithfield NC. Patrolling the streets wasnt his cup of tea either. He then decide to venture out on his own and West-Tek Company Police was born in 2001. West-Tek was a privately owned Police Department that had the same arrest powers as any other Police Department. He went from a one man operation to over 200 emloyees in just five short years. He later on branched out and started a security company and Third Watch which sold any type of law enforcement gear.

Keith was a beloved son, brother, father, grandson, cousin, employer and friend who had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone within his power. Keith left behind a beautiful daughter named Lily Marie that he only had the chance to spend nine short months with.

While he lay sleeping in the comfort of his own home after a long trip to Virgina the prior weekend, Keith was murdered (shot in the back of the head while he was asleep by his girlfriend.)
